I *suspect* you are getting that notice from Apple Mac App Store. Did you purchase Growl there? That "email ID" is probably just your *Apple ID*. You *may* be able to get Apple to change it, but I think it might take an act of Congress to do that! ;-) While it was/is an actual email address, Apple mainly uses it as your ID. Of course, they might try sending you an email with it, in which case you'd need to talk with your previous employer to see if they would forward stuff for a period of time. I suggest contacting Apple and see if you can at least assign a new, usable email address to your account with them. If none of this is valid, just delete my post! LOL!
