I am aware that this has been posted before, but my error is different. I have growl version 2.1.3 on Mavericks (10.9.1). I have the late 2013 MacBook Air (6,2), although I'm not sure that hardware is relevant. When I attempt to send a notification via `growlnotify`, it fails without reporting an error. In the console, it reports:
1/21/14 10:25:29.064 AM Growl[1049]: *** -[NSConnection handlePortCoder:]: dropping incoming DO message because the connection is invalid I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling growl, but to no avail.
