I suspect you are looking at the old "Growl" preference panel, correct? Unfortunately, that is no longer how Growl operates. It is now a full-fledged application and I'm almost willing to bet that if you look in your Applications folder, you will see it there. ;-)
The solution to your problem is to remove the Growl version in your System Preferences and use the new Growl application. I think if you go back to their site, you can find "Growl Uninstaller". Scroll down this page<http://growl.info/downloads> to the "General Downloads" area. That removes the old version, not the new one. You can then start up the new version. If you look through this forum, you will find numerous questions with the same, basic problem. But if you need more help, feel free to ask, there are many helpful people much more experienced than me. Good luck! 8-) On Tuesday, January 28, 2014 5:52:32 PM UTC-6, Michelle Anderson wrote: > > ...App Store says it's now installed on my Mac, but Growl's ABOUT tab says > I'm running 1.2.2 > > I cannot find a package or dmg file. > > Any insights? > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
