Hi. I'm new to Growl 2.x, but I used Growl 1.x for a long time.

Consequently I'm new to the rollup feature, and while I like it, I find
myself frustrated by a bunch of things.
My primary growl use is Twitter.app, and so a rollup may have hundreds of
notifications in it when I come back to it (e.g. overnight).

I'd really like to be able to click on a notification in the rollup and
have it go back to the app, e.g. if it has a URL to follow or an image or
something. I imagine this is tough (does the app time out notification
callbacks?).
So the next best thing would be able to copy/paste from the rollup, which
seems like a no-brainer. Except it doesn't work.
Also to be able to recognize URLs and open them in the default browser.
Any chance of getting those enhancements in the next release?

As an awkward workaround, I can open the prefs and go to the History tab
and copy/paste from there. But it is definitely quite awkward.

I also have some general usability issues with the rollup window.
Invariably if I hide it (because I'm trying to get some work done), it just
keeps popping up while I'm typing. Even if I bind a global key shortcut to
it, this happens. There doesn't seem to be a way to "hide rollup and keep
it hidden," short of pausing Growl, which is not what I want.

Also, when it is present, it's not always so clear which window is the
active window. So I've hit Cmd-W and closed the rollup when I meant to
close the tab in my web browser, and vice versa. That's annoying. Not sure
what to do.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

I searched for these issues in the forum and didn't find much; an older
thread that ran off the wheels quickly about unrelated topics...

Also, the Contact page's developer resource seems to be in need of an
update.
http://growl.info/contact references http://cia.vc/stats/project/growl
which is password-acl'd, and http://cia.vc/ suggests the site is gone for
good.

Thanks.
