I'm not sure why you don't have Growl in your Applications folder anyhow. Log into the other user, and copy it to the right place. Or log into the app store with the same app store account and redownload Growl.
1) Log into facebook with adium to do what you want I think. 2) I don't think mavericks supports ppc. Check with apple on that. 3) "combine users" isn't specific. Is this for App store accounts? Go to apple. If it's for the local login then you can move data across and then just never log into the older account perhaps.
