3) It's up to the application to support Growl. A large number of applications support Growl. It just sounds like you're running into a few which do not. 4) Notification Center does cover the needs of some people, but not everyone. Growl has been around for a very long time, and we intend to keep it around as well. The goal here is to ensure that people get notifications how they want. Not everyone wants what NC offers. 5) No. 6) I use it for a lot of things. Perhaps if you had included what applications you want to use with Growl that would have helped instead of just being negative?
