Here are the steps I'm noticing:

1. Restart Mac
2. While display is asleep, scripts and apps post notifications
3. At some point later, I notice the menubar icon is flashing, but I see no
rollup
4. Clicking "Hide Rollup" then "Show Rollup" has no effect. I still see no
rollup, and the icon still flashes

There are two ways I've seen to get the rollup to display again:

1. Quit and relaunch Growl
2. View the Growl preferences. As the Preferences window appears, so too
does the rollup

Growl version: 2.1.3
OS version: 10.10.2
Applications sending notifications: OmniFocus, AppleScripts I've written,
running as apps scheduled with Calendar
Rollup preferences: Enabled, Auto-display, pulse menu item, only logged
notes, idle after 3 minutes. All other options are unchecked

I've noticed this for a while, but can't remember if this affected
Mavericks or not.
