If you mean the BitTorrent client from bittorrent.com, I saw some mentions in 
their forums that implied Growl support…but after downloading the latest 
version and trying a torrent download, all I got was a Notification center 
notification, not a Growl notification, nor did I see anything in BitTorrent’s 
preferences (or in the Growl preferences applications list, where it should 
have appeared if BitTorrent tried to register itself with Growl).  So I suspect 
that if it did it once, maybe given Notification center, it doesn’t anymore.

I tried the Ribbit plugin for the Vuze client, and it doesn’t seem to work 
anymore either - at least, if it does, it’s not painless to get it to work.

Nor do I offhand know of a way to bridge a Notification center notification 
either _to_ Growl (_from_ Growl works, AFAIK) or directly to an iDevice.  Maybe 
someone else has heard of something like that.
