Hi, Since Growl introduced the Actions as styles, some sections of the preferences appear a bit unclear for some of the users of Growl I know (because it was designed only considering Display Style and not Actions at first): for instance, you find the "Actions" under the "Displays" preference pane.
The Growl web site (http://growl.info/styles.php) now use "Visual Styles" and "Action Styles" on the page of "Styles": why not use the same terms in the software? => a preference tab named "Styles" concerning visual and action styles. I guess a little renaming of labels could then be of great benefit for the users using Growl. That could give the following changes: ## Current => Refactored Preferences > Displays => Preferences > Styles # In Preferences > Displays: Default Style => Default Visual Default Actions => (leave as is) Display Styles => Styles Displays => Visuals # In Preferences > Applications > Applications Applications's Display Style => Application's Style # In Preferences > Applications > Notifications Display Style: => Visual: Actions: => (leave as is) Just to show the result in a easy way I quickly produced the attached image. Hoping this suggestion will interest you folks. And I wish the best for the all of you. -Yann. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
