I read the earlier thread about Growl not functioning with El Capitan. I'm writing to confirm it is not working on my Mac running the latest version of EC and with Growl 2.1.3. When installed, Growl did not detect any apps that were compatible with it, although the Growl Detective showed about a dozen apps that should have been detected.
So my question is:is this obsolete ware or is there any hope of a functional version?
