Good morning:
I just upgraded Twitter.app from 4.2.4 to 4.3.2, and Growl
notifications seem broken: Twitter's Preferences > Notifications
properly show tweets going to "Growl notification" when Growl is running
(rather than to "Notification Center" when it is not), but tweets
don't show up as Growl notices. Yosemite 10.10.5.
Occasionally I seem to get a "12 new tweets" -type notice.
And just now I got a batch of ~10 proper Twitter growl notices all at
once, but it stopped and seems not to be reproducible.
I presume this is likely a Twitter issue rather than a Growl issue,
but I kind of despair of finding an appropriate support path for
Twitter.app. (Moving back to 4.2.4 solves the problem for now.)
* Does anyone on this list actively use Twitter's Growl support, and
can you confirm the problem?
* Does anyone have contact information for the Twitter.app maintainers
with respect to Growl issues?
For what it's worth, Growl's display of tweets is substnatially better
than Notification Center's, because it shows the icon associated with the
tweet rather than just the text, and that can be invaluable for
peripheral viewing and rapid recognition without reading text.
Thanks!
