In an effort to increase visibility and collaboration around larger changes to gRPC, we are rolling out “gRFCs” - RFCs for gRPC. The goal of this process is to encourage public discussion and feedback on the changes going into gRPC, and at the same time, define future changes in a structured manner. The gRPC RFCs or “gRFCs” shall live in http://github.com/grpc/proposal. Our intention is to use this mailing list (grpc-io <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/grpc-io>) to have discussions around any of these proposals, rather than GitHub. Please take a look at the proposals process <https://github.com/grpc/proposal/blob/master/README.md> and share your feedback! We hope that the current process as described will serve as a good starting point. Over the next few weeks, we will be taking a few RFCs through this process and request you to participate in the discussions. As we learn from experience, we expect to tweak the process through further, follow up RFCs. The current process can be viewed at https://github.com/grpc/proposal/blob/master/README.md.
