To answer your first two questions:
1. All of the client libraries support the same basic functionality. There is some variance in which advanced features are implemented in each language, but that should decrease over time. 2. There are client libraries for gRPC on both Android and iOS, so mobile applications are definitely a supported use case for gRPC.
