Hello, I have posted a new gRFC at https://github.com/grpc/proposal/pull/53 . The proposal is to remove the core surface API for grpc_alarm, which has only ever been used by the C++ language binding. In its place, the C++ API for grpc::Alarm will directly invoke core subsurface features such as grpc_timer. This is part of the project related to de-wrapping the C++ API. Please provide any feedback or discussion here.
