Hello All,

We am presently playing around with gRPC and Protobuf, and require some
guidance here. We have an existing system that is compatible with RHEL 6.8
and written in C/C++. Now, we are planning to introduce a new module that
behaves as a gRPC client and also uses Protobuf as communication protocol
between client and server. The current version of protobuf that we could
use without changing any RHSCL or RHDTS in RHEL 6.8 is 3.5.1. However, we
are not sure about the gRPC version that is compatible with protobuf 3.5.1
or shipped with protobuf 3.5.1 which can be built and installed on top of
RHEL 6.8.

Can you please guide us further? Do we have a compatibility table that
provides the detailed compatibility of gRPC with protobuf and supported OS
versions? The release notes do not seem to provide enough information...

Regards,
Debdatta Bhattacharjee
