I have recently been exploring the use of xds with gRPC to demonstrate reliability controls (things like traffic drains and fault injection).
I see that gRFC A33-Fault-Injection <https://github.com/grpc/proposal/blob/master/A33-Fault-Injection.md> enables client-side support for envoy's HTTPFault, but it does not appear to be supported on the server side at this time. While servers do have support for xds http filters <https://github.com/grpc/proposal/blob/master/A39-xds-http-filters.md>, the HTTPFault filter specifically is not currently supported. It is not clear to me from reading these proposals if this is a deliberate choice to not support server-side fault injection, or if the work has just not been done yet. If the latter, what is the best way for me to support this effort? Thanks, --Marc. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "grpc.io" group.
