when will GRUB 2 be released as stable edition, and will there be an installer? a good idea for an installer would be a live-CD with a text based installer - ubuntu's alternate installer has a good example of a text-based installer (You select an option from isolinux.cfg - the boot menu - then it loads a text-based installer, without even using a kernel).
