One of the major problems with bringing Multiboot2 to a usable state is that its implementation is in bitrot. The reason that brought us to this is that it shares very little code with the Multiboot1 loader. As a first step, I would recommend rewriting the Multiboot2 loader completely, basing it off the Multiboot1 with some preprocessor magic for divergences. -- Robert Millan The DRM opt-in fallacy: "Your data belongs to us.
