Hello everybody,

I read some mails in the grub-devel and debian-bugs mailing list
archives but did not find a solution. Most stuff I read was about
issues in November 2009, but it is now April 2010 so I don't know what
I am doing wrong.

# update-grub
Generating grub.cfg ...
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: no mapping exists for `lvm0-vol-root'.

# cat /etc/default/grub
http://debian.pastebin.com/QzDjub0P

# grub-probe --version
grub-probe (GRUB) 1.98-1

# mdadm -Q --detail /dev/md1
Version : 01.01
http://debian.pastebin.com/ys4yey1A

# grub-install --debug /dev/md0
http://debian.pastebin.com/pi3GbEFz

# blkid /dev/lvm0-vol/*
http://debian.pastebin.com/GQxfjEhN

# grub-install --modules=raid,mdraid,lvm,ext2 --recheck --debug
--root-directory=/ '(hd1)'
http://debian.pastebin.com/he37JyvD

How can I get a working grub to be installed on my system?

I hope somebody can help me out? I am hanging on this issue to get a
new system ready.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Jelle de Jong
