Hi, It is time to start planning 2.14 release. Sadly once again we are behind the schedule mostly due to lack of resources. I do not like it but it is what it is. I am working on improving situation but it goes slow. Though there is a chance for some improvements after 2.14 release...
Anyway, at this point I want to stop getting major features except ones which are currently under review, e.g. Appended Signature Secure Boot Support for PowerPC. Though I am still happy to get minor fixes and cleanups. At this point I am aiming at following dates: - code freeze and rc1 cut: 3rd of October 2025, - GRUB 2.14 release: 7th of November 2025. So, please start testing, reporting issues and fixing them. I am considering to not block merges for tests and documentation during code freeze. If you have any comments on that plan please drop me a line.
