Hi all,

I'm trying to write some deserialising code to convert the XML in an
incoming SOAP request into a C++ object. (The format is quite different
so this can't be done automatically.)

I have a function soap_in_mydata() which returns MyData** however
because MyData is a class I can't use soap_malloc to allocate memory for
it (as then the constructors aren't called and everything segfaults.)

If I use C++ operator 'new' instead, then it works fine, but I imagine I
have to use gSOAP functions for this otherwise the memory will never be
released.

I've seen some reference to soap_new_Class() but this doesn't exist for
my data type (which is declared as 'extern class' in the service.h file.)

Does anyone know which gSOAP functions I can use to allocate a new class
instance?

Thanks,
Adam.
