Hello all
We have a MFC client application which worked fine already with gSoap
traditional call tcp_connect(..) . But when we implemented proxy authentication
we were forced to support NTLM authentication also .
In order to do so we replaced the tcp_connect(..) with wininet_connect(..) with
our proxy parameters filled up for NTLM authentication .

the problems started afterwards - our earlier working application started
showing many problems like it does not work in Vista OS , it throws timeout
error due to wininet_connect() etc .

My question is : Is there anyway we can use tcp_connect(..) with NTLM
authentication WITHOUT using wininet_connect(..) . The problems with
wininet_connect() seems to be that the behavior of the application depends
largely on the build versions of wininet.dll of IE ...

Any one please help me out ?

regards
Dharani
