This is my first post, I hope to learn a lot, and hopefully contribute some useful info every so often !! At my last service , 120,000 I had my gearbox oil replaced. It is Castrol VMX 80, which is fairly cheap. From what i've read on varying lancer sites, no one ever mentions this as an option, rather the synthetic stuff. Is the VMX 80 i used ok for my car. I generally use good oil (Motul full synthentic 15w40) Should I look at investing in some full synthetic gear box oil? Any help appreciated. Thanks ------------------------ Yahoo!
