Proton GTI recaro's are a nice alternative (if you can find some). With so many WRX's out there these days a decent pair of seats wouldn't be too hard to come by...
Alternatively I think your best bet would be to browse the NZ forums for EVO trim - I had it with the GSR seats also and opted for the E3 alternative!
