Hi guys,

I have a stock GSR.  No exhaust, only K&N panel filter.  I am about to launch 
in to doing 
the odd day of track work (say once a month / couple of months)  I'm not 
necessarily 
interested in going faster, but are their any mods that will keep my daily 
driver RELIABLE 
and safe.

For example, I need new front discs, and rear pads ?  

Should I just go standard DBA's ? is it worth going to slotted ?  What about 
pads ?  Bendix 
Ultimate, or Advance OK ?  Are uprated pads going to reduce street braking 
performance ?

A lot of questions I know, but any advice from those more experience than 
myself would 
be greatly appreciated.

P.S.  Darren at AFAS, doesn't believe that NGK iridiums are worth the extra 
money on my 
stock GSR ?  DO you guys agreee ?  I 've just heard some conflicting reports.
