Depends how many kms its done, mitsibish recomend additive called proma oil additive. it works for a bit 6000km....change every 7000km clean oil, valvoline xld or penzoil synthetic shuts it up for a bit. I got 260km out of mine rattled like a desil when cold. It started at about 120,000km. Got a bit puffy leaky oil seal on turbo. If u hold the revs above 3000rpm for a bit it pumps up the lifters for a while once warm of cause. Its normaly the exaust lifters that wear these can be replaced costs about $35 each x 8 or 16 if u want 2 do the hole lot. Hay but i trashed mine. Its not going 2 get any better u could give it the oil treat ment and flick it. Up 2 u Hopes this helps.
