A guy came round to have a look, and pointed out that the VIN inprinted (stamped) in the firewall is different to the VIN on the plate rivited to the firewall. They are both JMF numbers. There is also a JMF stamped on the top of the passanger side strut which matches the plate number. I never noticed. I've had the car for 5 years, the REV check passed, and the rego and engine numbers have always been good. (using the firewall plate number) Can anyone offer any explination of this ? And what i am suppoesed to tell this guy. Is there any way to prove this ? Thanks heaps ! Mick
