Ha, I have the exact 2 same issues with my E1.
Tried to take off the glovebox and look for that
rattling noise, added some WD40 around the place and
it went away for a bit...but has come back now with a
vengeance....
Globes, I haven't had a look at yet but both mine are
blown.
