Ok... I think we all agree that it is much cheaper to buy an evo than
convert a lancer. I have an 08 gts which I love.
Ok so it's not effective to make it an evo. Is it effective to make the car
at least better. Here are the things I want most.

1. A evo style wide body kit.
2. A boosted engine around 200-220hp. Currently I have a 2.0 at around
147hp.
3. A better handling car. The 2008 gts stock is quite impressive compared
to others in it's class.

And lastly looking above is it still better to buy an EVO? Don't get me
wrong I love that car and it's amazing but I don't think it's worth the cost
etc. Top gear did an episode on the Evo 8 and Clarkston suggested the lower
british version vs the top one. He was quoted as saying you get about 90%
of the thrills without the drawbacks. I am looking for 50% of the thrills.
I have never had a car as small or that handled as well as my lancer. The
list below comprises my cars.

1. Ford 1985 Bronco 2 very small 6
2. Audi 5000 cs with a inline 4 I think around 120hp
3. Ford Taurus with a v6.
4. Dodge Dakota with a v6 3.6l
5. Nissan Xterra with a v6 175hp

So you see my lighter lancer with only 145hp is much more zippy and fun to
drive then what I have had.
