mask maps

    Hi,

 I am new to Gstat and I would like to know if it is possible to use it
without having any of the programs generating grid map formats accepted by
it ? I tried to make en 'ArcInfo asciigrid' with the informations in
the manual but I didn't succeed. Can somebody say me what the header
of an 'ArcInfo asciigrid' exactly  looks like ? I would be very happy with
that.
