Hi , I am cross compiling gstreamer on DM355( a arm926 core in it ). I tried to install the lame plugin to encode mp3 files. The version of gstreamer is
glib-2.16.5.tar.gz gstreamer-0.10.20.tar.gz gst-plugins-base-0.10.20.tar.gz gst-plugins-good-0.10.8.tar.gz gst-plugins-ugly-0.10.8.tar.gz libid3tag-0.15.1b.tar.gz libmad-0.15.1b.tar.gz liboil-0.3.15.tar.gz lame-398-2.tar.gz When I intalling the gst-plugins-ugly-0.10.8 , I found the following messages: configure: *** checking feature: lame mp3 encoder library *** configure: *** for plug-ins: lame *** checking for lame_init in -lmp3lame... no configure: *** These plugins will not be built: lame Before I install the gst-plugins-ugly, I have intalled lame-398-2 . This problem puzzled for several weeks.
