Hi Shabbir,

" GridFTP is built and installed as part of a default GT 4.0 installation.
For basic installation instructions, see the GT 4.0 System Administrator's
Guide <http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/4.0/admin/docbook/>. No extra
installation steps are required for this component. "

I am not sure whether you installed GT4 from a binary or source.

This is the path that have to be set.

export GLOBUS_LOCATION=/usr/local/globus-4.0.4
export PATH=${PATH}:/usr/local/globus-4.0.4/bin:/usr/local/globus-4.0.4/sbin
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:/usr/local/globus-4.0.4/lib
source /usr/local/globus-4.0.4/etc/globus-user-env.sh

I set the following paths

GLOBUS_LOCATION
JAVA_HOME
ANT_HOME and
LD_LIBRARY_PATH

However I am not using rft, at the moment, so I have not configured it.
