Ravi, I just follow the quickstart, and when configuring RFT for the second machine I only did:
*$GLOBUS_LOCATION/setup/globus/setup-gram-service-common --staging-host=(first-machine) --staging-protocol=https I saw that added my first machine on the staging-host variable in $GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc/gram-service/jndi-config.xml. But it doesn't change anything in ** $GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc/globus_wsrf_rft/jndi-config.xml, should it? I'm asking because in the quickstart just say to do **setup-gram-service-common, but when I start globus in the second machine appears: ERROR service.ReliableFileTransferImpl [main,<init>:69] Unable to setup database driver with pooling.Connection refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections. **and when I tested RFT on second machine with: rft -h .... It transfered ok, but appears this ERROR in container.log ERROR impl.QueryAggregatorSource [Timer-6,pollGetMultiple:149] Exception Getting Multiple Resource Properties from https://172.16.132.202:8443/wsrf/services/ReliableFileTransferFactoryService : java.rmi.RemoteException: Failed to serialize resource property [EMAIL PROTECTED]; nested exception is:* On 10/9/07, Ravi Madduri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > if you plan on using RFT in the second container with the database on > first container then you should set the value of jdbcUrl in > jndi-config.xml to the first machine > > On 10/9/07, Wilson Jr. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hi folks, > > > > I'm havin problems configuring machines. > > I configured RFT in the first machine and it's ok, no problems in the > > container.log. > > > > My doubt is on the second machine, I did: > > > > * > > $GLOBUS_LOCATION/setup/globus/setup-gram-service-common > > --staging-host=(hostname from the first machine) --staging-protocol=https* > > > > > > And the container.log from the second machine says that no entry in > > pg_hba.conf for the ip from my second machine for the user globus and > > database rftDatabase. > > > > I didn't understand, in the quickstart when configuring RFT in > > pg_hba.conf the ip that I put isn't: (ip from first machine) > > 255.255.255.255 ? > > > > Why is it looking an entry for the ip from the second machine? > > Anyone can help me? > > > > -- > > "É este um mundo no qual devemos esconder nossas virtudes?" > > Willian Shakespeare > > > > > > **************** > > Wilson Júnior > > **************** > > > > > -- > -- Ravi > > Ravi K Madduri > The Globus Alliance | Argonne National Laboratory > http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/~madduri > <http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/%7Emadduri> -- "É este um mundo no qual devemos esconder nossas virtudes?"
