VDT does not install everything that a GT installer would. It looks
like you need the VDT's SDK package to get the -dev packages.
Otherwise, install the myproxy first, then install the VOMS-Client.

Dear All,
I'm trying to build parts of Globus from source on a Scientific
Linux 3 machine. I managed to do this before, but fail to do so
now. It's a more or less fresh machine, with Perl 5.8.8 updated and
VOMS-Client installed via VDT.
Configure works fine:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] gt4.0.5-all-source-installer]# ./configure --prefix
$GLOBUS_LOCATION --with-gptlocation=/opt/gpt
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for javac... /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_12/bin/javac
checking for ant... /usr/bin/ant
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
But make fails (only want to install relevant parts needed for
MyProxy):
[EMAIL PROTECTED] gt4.0.5-all-source-installer]# make gsi-myproxy

I tried several options, as in updating Perl from 5.8.0 to 5.8.8,
installing another gpt, etc. Google gives 0 results for the error
message.
If anybody could enlighten me here, this would be very much
appreciated.
Cheers,
Florian.
