Hi all I am a final year computer science and engineering student. As a part of my final year project i want to setup an grid and have decided to use globus. My requirement is just to run simple parallel programs(mpi programs). There are lot of configuration steps given in the installation procedure of globus. Is it necessary to do all the configuration steps ?? what all steps should i do for setting up a simple grid ??
Another doubt is while downloading globus two types of files are available one for OS specific and another all source which one should i use ??
