Hello, I have similar problem as described in the comment #2 of the bug #3567 (http://bugzilla.globus.org/globus/show_bug.cgi?id=3567#c2)
I'm trying to setup the CA accorging to these instructions: http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/4.0/admin/docbook/ch07.html When running command (user: globus) "$GLOBUS_LOCATION/setup/globus/setup-simple-ca" I get an error: ERROR: could not run build command: /usr/local/globus-4.0.4/sbin/gpt-build -force /home/globus/.globus/simpleCA//globus_simple_ca_xxxxxxxx_setup-0.19.tar.gz Otherwise output is similar to the afore mentioned comment #2 (expect for the GT version number). I've checked the permissions and the files / directories in question seem to belong to globus:globus, with rwx rights for the user. $GLOBUS_LOCATION also points to the right direction. I'm running Globus Toolkit 4.0.4 on Debian unstable (kernel 2.6.22-3-686). Tried to Google and look in the archives, but didn't find anything. All help welcome! Thank you in advance! -Mikko Vilenius
