GRAM interfaces to a single local resource manager (LRM), for example PBS, SGE, LSF, loadleveler. GRAM provides a Grid interface to an LRM. Typically, a higher-level client is developed that processes all of a user's jobs to various GRAM services. Some examples are: Condor- G, GridWay, Portals and Science Gateways like LEAD, GridChem, ...
