Call for Abstracts for Poster Presentations:
2008 caBIG™ Annual Meeting – June 23-25
The caBIG™ Annual Meeting Program Committee welcomes submission of
abstracts for poster presentations at the caBIG™ 2008 Annual Meeting
to be held June 23-25, 2008 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in
Washington, D.C.
Abstracts for posters are welcome from anyone who is working with
caBIG™. Abstract submissions should demonstrate any of the following:
· Problems solved using the caBIG™ infrastructure and tools
for scientific research;
· Adoption or adaptation of caBIG™ tools by an individual or
organization, with an emphasis on uses and lessons learned about a
specified process;
· Implementation of caGrid at an organization, with an
emphasis on uses and lessons learned about the implementation process;
· Approaches to achieving caBIG™ interoperability;
· Approaches to data sharing through caBIG™, including
lessons learned;
· Development of caBIG™ tools, infrastructure, standards,
policies, data sources, or training activities;
· Achievement of caBIG™-compatibility by a commercial vendor.
Abstracts for posters are due by April 7. For more information and

There is no fee to attend the meeting, but all presenters will be
required to register and participate. We encourage everyone to
consider submitting a poster abstract and sharing your experience
with caBIG™. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to
