Call for Abstracts for Poster Presentations:
2008 caBIG™ Annual Meeting – June 23-25

The caBIG™ Annual Meeting Program Committee welcomes submission of abstracts for poster presentations at the caBIG™ 2008 Annual Meeting to be held June 23-25, 2008 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Abstracts for posters are welcome from anyone who is working with caBIG™. Abstract submissions should demonstrate any of the following:

· Problems solved using the caBIG™ infrastructure and tools for scientific research; · Adoption or adaptation of caBIG™ tools by an individual or organization, with an emphasis on uses and lessons learned about a specified process; · Implementation of caGrid at an organization, with an emphasis on uses and lessons learned about the implementation process;
·        Approaches to achieving caBIG™ interoperability;
· Approaches to data sharing through caBIG™, including lessons learned; · Development of caBIG™ tools, infrastructure, standards, policies, data sources, or training activities;
·        Achievement of caBIG™-compatibility by a commercial vendor.

Abstracts for posters are due by April 7. For more information and to submit abstracts, please visit the caBIG™ website: https://cabig.nci.nih.gov/2008AnnualMeeting/ . There is no fee to attend the meeting, but all presenters will be required to register and participate. We encourage everyone to consider submitting a poster abstract and sharing your experience with caBIG™. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to your attendance at this exciting event.
