The default globus container log file is
/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/var/container.log. You can, however, redirect the log
to any file you want when you start the container.

According to the bash error, it seems that the path to your
globus-stop-container is not right. It should be
"usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin/globus-stop-container" and not
"/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin/globus-stop-container".

As a temporary way to stop the container try to kill the process that started
the container.

With best regards.

Hi,I have installed GT4 on Fedora Core 8; GT4 container running fine when I
issue the commmand '$GLOBUS_LOCATION/bin/globus-start-container -nosec' ;i) I
wonder how/where to locate the log file for conatiner e.g I searched in
/var/log but its not there.ii) While I try to stop the container I get the
error:'bash:
/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin/globus-stop-container:
No such file or directory'Although I have done following steps(1 & 2) as
'globus' user; I get error mentioned above.1. $export
GLOBUS_LOCATION=/usr/local/globus-4.2.0/bin2.
$GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc/globus-user-env.shAny hints to let me know the Log file
for GT4 container and what could be the possible reason that my stop-container
command give me this error.Cheers,________________________Jan MuhammadPhD
