OK, I will try again from the source as suggested, but just for your
information, I already tried using the other binaries I have and the output
of "make install" was:

ln -sf /usr/local/globus-4.2.1.1/etc/gpt/packages

Is there anything I can do to test if my installation was successful? I
would suggest a sort of procedure or script to test the installation at this
point.

Here is what I did with the executables that were causing my problems:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/local/globus-4.2.1.1/bin/ssh.d$* ls -la

I will report again when I finished trying the source installation.

Thanks!
