Hi Julio,

These are the results of the commands I did when you suggested those to check:

1. [glo...@callisto globus-4.0.8]$ grid-proxy-init -debug

grid-proxy-init: error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/local/globus-4.0.8/lib/libcrypto_gcc32.so.0: cannot restore segment prot
after reloc: Permission denied

2. [glo...@callisto globus-4.0.8]$ grid-cert-info
    Error: Cannot locate certificate

3. [glo...@callisto globus-4.0.8]$ echo $GLOBUS_LOCATION
 /usr/local/globus-4.0.8
 [glo...@callisto globus-4.0.8]$ export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${GLOBUS_LOCATION}/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Hello Jan,

What if you use just "grid-proxy-init -debug" ?

Have your checked "grid-cert-info " when your user is logued
in the system?

have you checked your LD_LIBRARY_PATH env variable ?

Julio
