Hi,
I have no experience with CentOS 4, but maybe this is useful to you (and/or
others trying to use CentOS).
I tried installing GT4.2.1 in CentOS5.2 both on 32- and 64-bit machines. 64-bit gave me a lot of trouble, and after many
hurdles I could not get the WS container to start. On 32-bit, it worked using the rhas4 installer.
Also, I previously tried VDT version 1.11.0 which again worked ok on 32-bit, but on 64-bit I found that I had to set
VDT_PRETEND_32=1 for it to install.
