As previously announced we are re-racking our core infrastructure
servers to make the machine room move in October as "simple" as
possible. This Saturday, the 15th, marks the last major event in that
process. We purposely chose this weekend as it also coincides with the
regular CIS maintenance weekend.
The following services will be off-line starting at 8am and continuing
until 1pm.
Zimbra: all email will be down
MCS login machines: login*.mcs.anl.gov (aka terra/harley/shakey)
All wikis
All ftp sites
All blogs
All svn/trac/mercurial
core and project databases
globus usage stats DB and collector
status.alcf.anl.gov
sugar.mcs.anl.gov
vieta.mcs.anl.gov
pamby.mcs.anl.gov
Thing that will continue to work:
Main website and project sites
cryptocard services
In general it is in everyones best interest to plan on taking Saturday
morning off and having non-work related fun.
