Special session "Advanced Peer-to-Peer Protocols and Applications" at the Ninth IASTED International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networks ~PDCN 2010~ February 16 – 18, 2010 Innsbruck, Austria http://www.iasted.org/conferences/session1-676.html Special session description: Almost a decade since peer-to-peer has emerged as a leading distributed paradigm for researchers and practitioners, novel high-performance protocols are foreseen to cope with challenging large-scale applications such as multimedia streaming, massive multiplayer gaming and global ambient intelligence. In this context, the special session will accept original research papers that report the latest results and advances, from theoretical aspects to groundbreaking applications.
