Hi Stefan, I was able to figure out the above error. The certificates had the wrong hostname, so it was trying to connect to the wrong machine.
However, now when I use globus-url-copy I get the following. *aus...@rahul-laptop:~$ globus-url-copy gsiftp://172.31.72.34/tmp/testfile:///tmp/temp1 error: an end-of-file was reached globus_xio: An end of file occurred* The file temp1 is being created but has no data in it. When I telnet telnet 172.31.72.34 2811 Trying 172.31.72.34... Connected to 172.31.72.34. Escape character is '^]'. *Connection closed by foreign host.* I am immediately disconnected from the telnet session to the grid FTP server earlier I used to get this *220 chunky-laptop GridFTP Server 3.15 (gcc32, 1222656151-78) [Globus Toolkit 4.2.1] ready.* Is there any problem with the GridFTP server. It would be great if someone cpuld help me out. Regards Gaurav 2009/9/23 Stefan Mosoi <[email protected]> > Hi, > Could you check the /etc/hosts file if you don't have some > misconfiguration.
