Hi,
GridWay is a ready-made and complete solution to schedule and submit
jobs to grid resources. You can use GridWay client tools or develop your
own program using Distributed Resource Management Application API (DRMAA).
You can also try to build your own solution similar to GridWay. An
interesting approach to distributed computing is provided by the Simple
API for Grid Applications (SAGA). Using the SAGA as an API to dispatch
and submit jobs, you can focus on a scheduling part based on Batch Queue
Prediction
(http://www-csag.ucsd.edu/individual/yskee/publication/evgm07.pdf) or
Network Weather Service for example.
