hello..!!
I have configured 2 fedora 9 systems using globus toolkit 4.0.7
First system is having the hostname as gridsys1
and second system is having the hostname as gridsys2.
My first system (gridsys1) is my CA.
Globus containers are running well on both the sytems.. I can run the jobs
and use gridftp on individual systems well..
The problem is whenever I am trying to submit the jobs to each
other.."globusrun-ws -submit -F 192.168.4.87 -S -f job.rsl" or if I use
globus-url-copy also.. same error is coming..!!!
I am getting the following error:
*Submitting job...Failed.
globusrun-ws: Error submitting job
globus_xio: Unable to connect to 192.168.4.87:8443
globus_xio: System error in connect: No route to host
globus_xio: A system call failed: No route to host

I have disabled firewalls also.. and I have made the entries of the two
systems in /etc/hosts file also..
The two systems are pinging each other. I can use scp command to copy files
from each other.
I am confused .. is this problem is because I am having the hostname as
gridsys1 instead of some gridsys1.xyz.com...
Or do I have to again change my hostnames with something like
name.xyx.com... and again do the security configuration parts..
my DNS server is something like 210.123.32.13 and 168.126.63.1
My PCs are inside some network and I am using these DNS for using
internet...
my /etc/hosts files are having the following entries ::

Whenever I am using the command "host 192.168.4.82" .. I am getting the
following error
*Host 82.4.168.192.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Whenever I am using the command nslookup gridsys1, the output is coming

I do not know whats the error..
Can you please suggest me how to submit the jobs to each other systems..!!!
