Still little input on this. Let's turn the question around, then:

Given this difficulty in obtaining distinct inputs for each process,
What are the usage scenarios for jobType 'multiple' ?

(Or, once again, have I missed some simple mechanism for giving each
process in a 'multiple' job its own input?)
