Hi all,
I'm testing globus 5.0.
I set up a SimpleCA and a myproxy server in one machine (vodka)
and set up 2 machines with GRAM and GRIDFTP servers (vodka and zion).
One of my last test was a third party copy (the same as in section 2.4
of the GT 5.0 Quickstart guide), and it worked fine:
zion% globus-url-copy gsiftp://vodka.super.unam.mx/etc/group
gsiftp://zion.super.unam.mx/tmp/from-vodka
however, i've tried to involve a third machine (cotz), and I got this
error:
cotz% globus-url-copy gsiftp://zion.super.unam.mx/etc/group
gsiftp://vodka.super.unam.mx/tmp/etc-zion
error: globus_ftp_client: the server responded with an error
500 500-Command failed. : callback failed.
500-an end-of-file was reached^M
500-globus_xio: The GSI XIO driver failed to establish a secure
connection. The failure occured during a handshake read.^M
500-globus_xio: An end of file occurred^M
500 End.^M
if I add -nodcau option, it worked
cotz% globus-url-copy -nodcau gsiftp://zion.super.unam.mx/etc/group
gsiftp://vodka.super.unam.mx/tmp/etc-zion
documentation says "The GSI XIO driver failed to establish a secure
connection" error is related to untrusted certificates, but hosts
certs of both servers were signed by the same SimpleCA (also, I
suppose if this were the case, the first example also may fail)
any ideas?
