No problem. In the meanwhile I have re-installed GT4 on our server and...it
works again fine! The communication between client and our globus server is
re-established...

Thanks a lot for your help! Now I have a clearly better understanding how
globus works regarding to the lsf factory type.

I used the user globus to start SEG manually. Globus has the right to read in
the lsf log files...

However, it works!
